Understanding Your Mind Through Yoga

Shelby’s yoga is not only a class for the body but for your mind. In
this class, you will learn the science of how yoga, breathwork, and
meditation changes your brain and body as well as how to practice in your
everyday life. You will better understand why you struggle in the way you
do and learn the methods to fix them.

Shelby has extensively studied mindfulness in quantum physics and neuroscience and completed Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Advanced Workshop in Bonn, Germany. She studied and was certified in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga in Goa, India. She also has taken workshops and studied the works of innovative health experts such as Wim Hoff. She’s very excited to share these ideas with you to enhance your life.


This class focuses on learning about:

-the conscious and subconscious mind and how programming from your first seven years of your life is controlling your actions even into your 60s,
70s, and 80s on up.

-how stress affects your body and how to counter it.

-how avoidance plays a role in our relationships, work, and inner life.

-learn the types of avoidance and how to face your fears.

-how to recognize brainwaves and change your own brain patterns.

-how breathing can affect your mood, energy, and health and how to fix it.

-how meditation can change the physical make up of your brain and body.

-how the biology of belief controls not only your external reality, but
internal reality.
